Restaurant

My husband and I own a Northern Italian restaurant in Charleston, SC. Basically, we live and love Italian, even though we're not.

He's German/Norwegian.  I'm Irish/Norwegian.

But we fell in love, in this bar, with just a meeting of our eyes...

And we sweat, struggled, and saved to call it ours.  This restaurant.

 The place we first met.

Long story short, the dream came true.  And so did he, our little bambino, our someday bread boy, our Al di La baby, Aksel.

Now a little bit about the food...

We make all of our pastas, breads, and desserts in house.

Actually, we strive to make everything in house.  And we pride ourselves in using quality products and mainly local produce.

We serve panini, wood-fired pizzette, and insalate during lunch service, Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 am - 3:00 pm.

We serve a traditional four-course Italian menu for dinner service, Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm.

And we serve salumi e formaggi and piccoli piatti in our bacaro (bar), Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
